Develop your financial wellbeing alongside your whaanau
To be financially well we need to obtain, nurture and share the language of money. We need to intentionally develop our financial literacy, financial capability and our financial confidence.
Pua Ora has been designed for you, as Waikato Tainui rangatahi, to support you in developing your financial wellbeing.
Through this experience we hope you learn how to wield the tool of money in a way that supports you and your whaanau, to reach our greatest aspirations.
Te Kaupapa: Pua Ora
Pua Ora is a two week experience where you will learn what you need to know about money to confidently navigate the financial world.
You'll learn things like how to manage bank accounts, what interest is, managing debt, planning for today and tomorrow, buying a house, investing your money and lots more.
You'll use the Banqer platform to learn alongside other rangatahi and whaanau. You'll also be able to view videos from Waikato Tainui whaanau members and money experts sharing their puutea tips.
At the end of the experience, we'll be able to celebrate everything we've learnt together.

Who is this for?
While this kaupapa has been designed to help rangatahi develop their financial literacy, learning about money is best done together.
When rangatahi sign up for the experience they'll be able to add whaanau to join them over the two weeks. We encourage others to join to both provide support and to engage in the experience themselves.
Collective learning is a critical component of success to create intergenerational change and resilience!
